Clam Ramen

Discover a culinary masterpiece of sweet clams. These delicate gems of the sea sit pretty in our cooked Japanese noodle soup. Perfectly cooked noodles bathing in a clam-infused broth. A warmth in each spoonful and a garnish of seaweed to finish. What sets this dish apart is its balance of simplicity and bold flavor. Each ingredient, from the tender clams to the rich, umami-packed broth, is thoughtfully selected to ensure harmony in every bite. To elevate the experience, a hint of citrus zest is added, providing a bright, refreshing contrast to the deep, savoury notes of the soup.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Seafood Stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 200g Ramen Noodles
  • 400g Fresh Clams
  • 1 cup sliced Mushrooms and grated carrot
  • Spring greens and nori seaweed to garnish 
  • Sea salt & ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring the seafood stock to a boil.
  • Add the soy sauce, miso paste, garlic, ginger, and other seasonings.
  • Add the clams, sliced mushrooms grated carrots and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Sepeartely pour some boiled water onto your noodles and leave to soften for 5 minutes
  • Drain and add the cooked noodles to the broth and stir to combine.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and nori seaweed.
